Book of Exodus

DAY 4 OF 12

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM

How can we show evidence to people that The God we worship is the real God… The awesome and mighty God?  It can only be proven when we pass through an impossible situation where we cannot face it with our own strength. A similar situation was faced by the Israelites when they came out of Egypt. The Israelites never thought that Pharaoh, together with his army, would chase them with his chariots and horses. Can you imagine their impossible situation? The Red Sea in front of them, and the vast army of Egypt, with horses and chariots, behind them.

The Israelites were pinned in between impossible situations.  What should we do when we are in the same situation? We are exhausted and out of wits. This is the time when we need to raise our hands up before God as a sign of our full surrender before God. No longer the battle belongs to us, but belongs to God. As a leader, Moses could only depend on God. We, too, have to depend on God fully and let God fight for us.

To man, it seems impossible to survive, or to come out of difficult situations, but to God nothing is impossible. God is fighting for us. And when God fights for us, God bears the full responsibility of our life. To stand still means to believe and surrended fully to God and we will see God’s glory and awesome deeds.

Do not be afraid to face the storm of life, but remain, believe, and trust God because God is our source of help.
