SPECIAL MESSAGE

A prophet is God’s messenger with a task to speak of God’s messages to His people. There was a time when God asked Moses to come up to Mount Sinai alone, and God asked Moses to note down all His commandments for the Israelites. God gave important messages to the Israelites, messages that determined their future. God also gives us special messages, the messages we need for our future. We may receive the messages when we are in our prayer room or during sermon time at church. 

We need commitment and persistence in order to execute God’s messages. There are many people who started well, showing their commitment at the beginning but after a while, the commitment start to fade off and some finally forsake their commitment. How can this happen? Because we do not focus seriously with our commitment, and are more interested in the condition we are facing now—maybe a problem, a difficult process or worldly pleasures. 

Jesus came to the world to save us from sin. Through His blood we are redeemed from the darkness of sin. The past, with no hope, is changed into the future full of hope. Do you want to go back to a dark future? Of course not. Therefore let us keep what God has entrusted to us by keeping our life and our steps following God’s commandments diligently. To love God deeper, and to please Him by living a righteous life. 

To be the doer of God’s word will enable us to live a different lifestyle from worldly people, and touch God’s heart to bless us abundantly.
