Shift

DAY 4 OF 15

What does it feel like to be truly lost... not just taking a wrong turn down a street, or having a hard time finding your way out of a fun maze? The kind of lost when nothing in life seems to make sense anymore. No decision seems right, and you’ve gone so far down one path that you don’t even recognize where you are. When you’re this lost, life can start to feel a little bit hopeless. It feels as though we’ve gone from shifting our expectations to not having any at all. But Jesus promises that He has come to save us from just this kind of feeling. That we don’t just have to have faith that Jesus will walk alongside us, but that we can expect it each and every day. This doesn’t mean that every day will feel like a walk in the park or that we’ll be confident in every decision we make. Instead, we have the knowledge that we never are lost on our own, as Jesus has promised to never leave us. It’s not just a promise, it’s an expectation. What can change in your life knowing that you expect God to always walk alongside you? How does it feel to know that you will never have to be alone again?

About this Plan

Shift

A small shift can be enough to change your perspective. When we shift our perspective, we allow ourselves to see something in a whole new light. Many of us have a picture of what we want and expect Jesus Christ to be, but if we allow ourselves to shift our perspective, we can see a God who is so much more than we think.
