In life, every day is a series of choices we make in order to get us to where we want to go. We have the choice to follow the rules that have been set out for us, or we have the choice to break those rules in an effort to try to get ahead. We have a choice to treat others the way we want to be treated, or we also have the choice to put ourselves first, time and time again.
When Jesus came to earth, He brought with Him two important choices that we can now make. We can either choose earthly desires that soon fade away, or we have the choice to choose the bread of life, an eternal life with Christ. And though Jesus loves each and every one of us, He can’t make that choice for us. We have the power to choose what we want our lives to be. In a journal or notepaper, write down some choices you can make each day that lead to eternal life with Jesus Christ. You may write down choosing to do the job asked of you instead of finding shortcuts or passing it off to another person. You may write down choosing to show respect to everyone instead of just to those who show respect to you first. Keep this list somewhere visible, and be sure to read it each day.

About this Plan
A small shift can be enough to change your perspective. When we shift our perspective, we allow ourselves to see something in a whole new light. Many of us have a picture of what we want and expect Jesus Christ to be, but if we allow ourselves to shift our perspective, we can see a God who is so much more than we think.
