DAY 3 OF 15

Have you ever thought about how much faith the Israelites must have had waiting on a Savior? To be waiting for hundreds of years, wondering if today was the day that the Messiah would come to save them all? No wonder they had some pretty big built up expectations. They didn’t just believe that God would send a Messiah, they expected it. This wasn’t just a hope that someday things would be different for them, but instead, the Israelites knew that their time would come. They had faith that God would fulfill the promises that were written and passed down from generation to generation. They believed and had faith in promises that they couldn’t quite see yet. And those promises didn’t just end with Jesus coming to earth as the Messiah. Jesus Christ also promised that, through Him, we could have eternal life with our heavenly Father. That we would never be alone in this world again. What are some promises from God that you need to have faith in today? Spend some time alone, either journaling or in a note to yourself, write down some promises that you need to remind yourself of this week. Keep these promises in a place where you can read them to yourself each day.

About this Plan

Shift

A small shift can be enough to change your perspective. When we shift our perspective, we allow ourselves to see something in a whole new light. Many of us have a picture of what we want and expect Jesus Christ to be, but if we allow ourselves to shift our perspective, we can see a God who is so much more than we think.
