God Is Love: 10 Days in the Book of JohnIhe Atụ
No Condemnation
In Christ there is no condemnation. These words are echoed by Paul in Romans 8:1: “The case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.” Simply put, those who are found in Christ cannot be condemned.
What a liberating truth this is. When you come to the Lord, laying your heart and life bare before him, he welcomes you. As you make him the leader over your life, submitting yourself to him, he wipes your slate clean before the Father. King David put it this way in his psalm of praise: “Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset—that’s how far you’ve removed our guilt from us” (Psalm 103:12 TPT). What a reason to rejoice!
Son of God, thank you for becoming my liberation and for offering me the incredible gift of guiltlessness before God. There is nothing better than that! I believe that you are the way, the truth, and the life. Lead me even deeper into your liberating love.
