THE SOUND of FREEDOM: Released From the Shackles of Shame

AFFECTED... BUT ANOINTED

There is no denying that all of us (all included... none excluded) have experienced mishaps and misfortunes that left us struggling with the emotion of shame. The day we were born, we had an adversary that set up traps to deter us from fully knowing who we are and whose we are (things like childhood trauma, mental, emotional, verbal, and physical abuse or violation). These traps created an illusion that our identity is rooted in our missteps and mistakes. The purpose of the illusion was (and still is) designed to cause distractions and get us off course.

We have an enemy that wants to use all the hurt, betrayal, and rejection to mask our TRUE IDENTITY... but GOD. In all of his evil schemes, he never considered that although our past may have affected us... God had anointed us for an appointed time. Our afflictions will never outweigh God's love and purpose for our life. You may have had traumatic experiences that affected you, but I've learned that God-allowed trials don't define us... they refine us. Although it affected you... it does not affirm you.

So don't allow the toxicity of shame to taint your inheritance and mask your "born identity." Your created uniqueness is a kingdom asset. Live in complete confidence that you are not what you did or what happened to you... you are fearfully and wonderfully made, called, and chosen by God. Standing firm in the truth that we are chosen and anointed by God... on purpose... for purpose... is a "shame-shatterer." The confident stance of knowing who you are... and WHOSE you are is birthed out in our surrender. As we surrender to seeking God first and His way of doing and thinking, mind renewal comes forth. Renewing your mind with godly values and submitting your thoughts and ideas to God significantly impacts our ability to walk in divine calling.
