Nobody Kneels in Prayer Anymore | the Posture of Prayer

ỤBỌCHỊ 5 NKE 5

When we kneel with God in prayer, we remember others. Jesus knelt and remembered the disciples in prayer –that their faith would be strengthened. When we humble ourselves in prayer and seek His face, we can’t help but have our mindset open to those who God loves so much. How much more powerful is it that we’ve been given the chance to be the intercessor on behalf of others?

One of the ways we can understand revival is to think about God’s healing at work in our families and relationships, in our nations, in our broken ways of thinking, and in the attitudes and systems that fail to protect the vulnerable. Imagine God’s healing at work in our lives, our churches, and within our cities.

If we as the Church would humble ourselves in prayer, turn from sin and disobedience, and seek HIS ways, then we can begin to experience healing like never before. Prayer habits now, impact many and form habits for the days to come. As we pray, let’s commit to remember others.

QUESTIONS

In what ways do you need to repent and seek God so that you might experience revival in your world?

Ask God who you can begin to pray for and believe they will experience God’s healing this week.
