HARI KE 18 DARI 25

When you first read this verse, it’s easy to want to speed through and get to what you think will be the main event of the story. Where is the Lord sending Isaiah? What kind of mission or adventure did God have in store just for him? What was this amazing purpose that Isaiah was going to fill, that no other person could do? And yes, if you read a bit further, you’ll find all of this and more. But before the story could even start, Isaiah had to answer the question: Who will go? It’s a simple question, but the answer is what is going to take us where we need to go.

We’re all given a choice in life—to do what we know needs to be done, or to sit back and see who else is going to answer the call. God did have an amazing purpose for Isaiah, but for it to happen, Isaiah had to answer. As believers, we’re all called to share our stories with the world. God has given every one of us the purpose of spreading the Good News so everyone in the world has a chance to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. So the next time you hear the voice of the Spirit nudging, “Who will go?”—what will your answer be?
