HARI KE 22 DARI 25

It’s important to remember that when it comes to worship, it’s something that’s far more beneficial for us than it is for God. Let’s be honest, God doesn’t need our worship. God doesn’t need anything from us at all. While God appreciates and hears all of the prayers, songs, and words of love and appreciation, He doesn’t need them to love us right back. The love that God has for us isn’t based on anything we say or do. Instead, worship is a helpful tool that allows us to build an even stronger relationship with God. The words we use in worship are like building blocks, allowing us to share how we feel to build a bridge that brings us closer and closer to Him.

If we were to stop worshipping, nothing about God would change. He would still be eternal, all-powerful, and all-loving. However, so much in our relationship with Him would change. We could soon forget the wonderful things God has done in our lives, slowly lose that sense of appreciation, and find ourselves turning to Him less and living lives solely for our desires and benefit. What do you think a life without worship would look like for you? What could it mean for your relationship with Jesus Christ?
