HARI KE 17 DARI 25

Have you ever heard the phrase “leaders are learners”? You often hear it in the business world, where CEOs like to share the latest biography or self-help book that reshaped how they saw the world. But the advice is great for everyone. The more we learn, the better we can be when it comes to leading those around us, or even when it comes to leading ourselves.

This is true when it comes to learning about our fellow believers as well. The more we learn the personal stories of others—how they came to know and love Jesus Christ—the better we can understand one another. It’s helpful to think about Jesus as you would a diamond that has many facets to it. If you look at it from one direction, it can look a certain way. But shift it just a little bit, and you can see something completely brand-new. We’re limited in our perspective, but when we share what God has done for us in our lives, we get to see a new facet. If you’ve never thought about sharing your story with others, it may be tough to try to figure out just where to start.

Take a few minutes today to write down one thing that you know God has done for you lately. If you find that easy, challenge yourself to write down two things. If you keep this habit, you’ll have a whole list of things to share when the time is right.
