Psalms Of Praise And The Wordનમૂનો
The Miracle That Is Israel
There are many views held by Christians about Israel, but one thing we can all marvel at is the extraordinary durability of this tiny nation. While far greater empires have come and gone, Israel has somehow miraculously survived. This is a thought that grips the songwriter in Psalm 129.
From the beginning, Israel has experienced persecution and discrimination, and yet she has survived. “We’re still here!” the psalmist cries (v. 2, TPT). God has always stood to defend his people against those who hate the Jews. What’s the secret? Psalm 129 answers the question. God’s supernatural, covenant love is the secret.
God is breathing his Holy Spirit into many Jewish people today, inside and outside of Israel. Pray with passion for Jewish people you know to come to understand who Jesus really was and is.
Psalm 129:2 The Passion Translation
“And from our very beginning, we have faced never-ending discrimination. Nevertheless, our enemies have not defeated us. We’re still here!”

About this Plan
The Psalms find the words that express our deepest and strongest emotions, no matter what the circumstances. These devotions, inspired by The Passion Translation Psalms: Poetry on Fire, combined with the daily readings, will turn sighing into singing and trouble into triumph. This 10–day reading plan includes the Psalms of praise and the Word spanning Psalms 107-150.
