ManifestHER Daily: Becoming Fully Committedનમૂનો
I had the pleasure of sharing this manifestHER daily study on being fully committed on my Instagram Live for ten days straight. After the first day, I received a testimonial from a woman, who after participating in Day One’s study, committed to giving her goals to God through her prayer time. She said, “I am stressed because I wanted to be able to stay up all night working countless hours, making six figures again, helping anyone who asked for help and spending countless hours people pleasing…and God is saying no. God told me I don’t have anything to prove. I realized that I was doing it for the validation, and I don’t need to be validated by others because God is all the validation I will ever need.”
How many times have you felt like your work validates you? When we create space for stillness with God at the start of our day, we begin to realize that it’s not about the stuff. It’s not about the house, the marriage, the car, the title, or even the extra things that look good but leave you exhausted and depleted every night—you know, those extra tasks you said yes to that you really didn’t have time for. In Christ, we are fully validated. We don’t need things to validate our worth or worthiness!
We want to seek God’s opinion daily on everything concerning us. So, what’s the balance?
In life, you need the Practical: The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead.
“So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." James 2:17
However, you also need the Spiritual: The Bible also tells us to glorify God in all we do—which includes our work.
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17
While we do have to engage in the practical, the spiritual must be higher in our daily priority. How do we know this? The Word tells us that the spiritual directs the practical.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Everything we do should be sourced in His will, His kingdom, His righteousness. When looking for practical answers, we can hear a good podcast, and we can even read a good book about a topic, but we shouldn’t elevate the practical as the answer without first considering God’s perspective during our time of stillness.
manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:
