Love God Greatly: Jesus Our Everythingનમૂનો

The message of Hebrews is the superiority of Christ and His ministry. After explaining how Christ is superior to the angels, the author of Hebrews explained Christ’s superiority to Moses. This does not in any way dishonor Moses or his ministry to the people of Israel. Instead, it amplifies the work of Christ by explaining how Christ is superior even to Moses. 

Moses was a servant of God; Jesus is the Son of God. Moses testified to the promises of God; Jesus fulfilled God’s promises. Moses led and ministered to the people of Israel; Jesus is the creator and sustainer of Israel, and all of His people past, present, and future.

Even the most highly regarded and respected leader in Israel is nothing compared to Christ. Jesus alone is holy and deserving of our praise. For even though Moses and the leaders of the past laid the foundations of our faith, Jesus is the builder, sustainer, and fulfillment of all things. 

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that You alone are worthy of my praise. Help me remember Your holiness. I believe You are greater than Moses, greater than the angels, and greater than all. You alone are holy. Help me live in a way that honors You each and every day. Amen.
