OUR GOD SAVES

Jonah began preaching in one of the most influential cities of the world at the time. He was from a tiny, insignificant country and he was alone. But with God sending him and going with him, he was unstoppable. The Bible says that the whole city of Nineveh repented and turned from their wickedness.

This is the power of God that accompanies His people. The Bible calls us His ambassadors. This means that wherever you share your faith, make disciples, and preach His gospel, you are speaking with the authority and power of God Himself. He will back you up!

This also means that we can believe and ask God to save our campus, like Nineveh. We are not studying there by accident. Our classmates and teachers are not there by chance. God sent us there and He will move powerfully. When we invite our friends, when we share our testimony, when we lead a small group, God will back us up and many will come to know Him.

REFLECT

1. How different would your daily and weekly routine in school be if you really believed that God is with you and that He would move powerfully in your life?
2. Think of your campus. What kind of changes would you like to see God do there?

RESPOND

1. Take some time now to pray for your campus. Pray for the salvation of your classmates and friends, for the teachers and administrators of your school. Pray that they will all come to know Jesus.
2. Share your faith with someone this week. It does not have to be long or dramatic. The important thing is to step out in faith and do it.
