Day Four 

READ:

‘Jacob's Dream’ in Genesis 28:10-22

The next morning when Jacob woke up, he said, “The Lord is in this place!”

ASK:

When Jacob woke up he was so amazed by his dream and what God had told him that he wanted to remember the place where it happened. 

It’s good to remember all the amazing things God has done for us.

When we remember these things it helps us to remember that God is good, even when things are tough. When we are sad, we can remember that God promises that He is our comfort and gives us peace. 

Ask your grown up to help you find verses in the bible that tell you these promises.  Why not start with

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

John 14:27

Can you find some more verses like this and write them down to remember them? 

Maybe you have a book that you can write notes in to help you remember?  

REMEMBER:

Psalm 9:1 

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

SAY:

My God is good, 

He is awesome and great.

He helps me be strong,

Even when I’m afraid. 

I will say thank you,

For all He has done.

For me and my people, 

He loves everyone.
