Day Three 

READ:

‘Jacob's Dream’ in Genesis 28:10-22

Whilst Jacob was dreaming, God spoke to him. 

God told Jacob, “I am watching over you Jacob.  Someday, all of this land will belong to you and your family.”

ASK:

Did you see that God made Jacob a promise? 

God told Jacob that He was watching over him and that God was going to give Jacob all the land that he could see. 

Did you know that God had also made promises to Jacob’s father, Isaac, and his grandfather, Abraham? Ask your grown-up to help you look at Genesis 17 and Genesis 26 to find out what God promised them. 

God always keeps the promises He makes to HIs people. Can you think of any promises God has made to you? Ask your grown up to help you remember. 

If you can, write them down so that in a little time you can look back and remember and thank God for His promises. 

REMEMBER:

Psalm 9:1 

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

SAY:

My God is good, 

He is awesome and great.

He helps me be strong,

Even when I’m afraid. 

I will say thank you,

For all He has done.

For me and my people, 

He loves everyone.
