Divine Work of Art
God saves us not merely to save us from the wrath we rightly deserve but also to make something beautiful of us.
Man is the crown of God’s creation. We are His workmanship or “work of art.” Some translations say we are God’s masterpiece. We are God’s own handiwork. He has fearfully and wonderfully made us. He has created and knit us together in our mother’s womb. We are intentionally and purposefully created by God. Not one of us is an accident.
We are created for a purpose. Our heavenly Father has "set" a course for us to run. He has good and worthy purposes for us. All truly good works are God-planned, God-empowered, and God-superintended. He planned it all and willed that we would do them. Each of us has a unique course to run. No one can do what God has ordained for you to do, nor can anyone else do what I am to do. God promises to equip us not just to run the race—but to run it with joy!
Wow! What an awesome privilege and responsibility!
Lord help me as your handiwork, joyfully do all the good work you have for me, I pray.

About this Plan
You and I do not get to choose our human families. Some of us are blessed with great families, while many of us are not. And yet, every one of us can be part of God’s divine family. We have a Heavenly Father, who loves us unconditionally and invites each of us into His family. Explore further through this seven-day plan from Find Rest My Soul by Preethi Alice Jacob.
