The Enneagram for Teensنموونە

Faith’s Role in Your Enneagram Journey
We tend to walk through life with a mindset of “That’s just who I am,” accepting the lies and limitations that discourage us from walking in our full potential. When you are able to see the limitations you have been living with and how you can shake them off and move forward with a heightened sense of self and your strengths, you’re able to see yourself how God created you. As we talk about types and numbers, I want to remind you, you are more than that.
You are a complex, beautiful, wonderful creation of God, and the most important thing you can take away from this reading plan is that he created you on purpose, just the way you are. Now, does our free will give us some bumps and bruises along the way in life? Sure, but thankfully He is also called the Great Physician, and when we partner with Him, we see transformation and healing.
The Enneagram changed my life because it helped me understand why God made me the way he did. When I took a deeper look at myself, I stopped picking apart things I would change and I started to think, “Whoa, I’m actually beginning to feel ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’ by my Creator, like Psalm 139 says. I get it. I get it, and I appreciate it. I’m thankful for the traits he’s given me, and honestly, now I don’t feel so alone.”
My transformation happened not because of the Enneagram on its own, but because it drew me closer to my Heavenly Father. It allowed me to partner with him on a mission and use the gifts and talents I now understood to better the lives of others and heal the wounds that had scabbed over in my heart. In the same way, the Enneagram is a helpful tool that can change your life, but transformation only happens when you ask God about the things you learn about yourself. Ask your Creator about his creation!
The Enneagram can feel like an intense process of learning so much about your inner world, but I pray it will give you a deep appreciation for who God made you to be.
