Praise God in Every Circumstance

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

This is a song of praise created by David. He expressed His praises to God for what God had done in his life. He was saying words of faith that God would deliver him. He also stated that even though he had been worried or had doubts in his heart, eventually he still trusted in God. David praised God in every circumstance of his life, both in happy and unhappy times. 

It is easy to praise God in happy times, but it might be difficult to do it in unhappy times. When you feel like there is no reason to praise God, remember this important fact: there is Someone who loves you deeply that He gave His life for you. He is Jesus. Your circumstances do not change this fact. He loves you all the time. 

Praise God for what He did in the past, for what He is doing right now and for what He is going to do for you in the future! God is good all the time!

Prayer

Dear God, I was made to praise You. I want to be thankful to You in every circumstance. I want to always glorify Your name. Amen.
