The Greatest God
Psalm 135:5b
Our Lord is greater than all the gods.
God is the One who is enthroned in heaven.
Our God has a mouth and He speaks the word of truth to you and me.
Our God has eyes and He looks at you to take care of you, protect and defend you from your enemies.
Our God has ears and He listens to your prayers, cries and daily stories.
Our God has a nose that smells and loves the sweet fragrance that you offer up to Him during your praise and worship.
Our God has hands to hold your hands and lift you up when you fall down.
Our God has feet to walk beside you and carry your burden when it is too heavy for you to bear.
He can do what He wants and everything that He wants for you will definitely be what is best and right for you. Aren’t we blessed that the God we believe in is the One who created the Heaven and the earth and He is the greatest God? There are no other gods before Him on earth.
Prayer
Dear God, how marvelous You are! There are no other gods on earth and only You are the true GOD! I glorify Your lovingkindness and power! Amen.
