Praying God's Word Over Your Kids: Part 3نموونە
Turn on the news for any amount of time and you will more than likely be bombarded with bad news. This discouragement often causes fear to bombard us. And when fear overwhelms us, it affects our body, mind, and soul. We must pray against this because contrary to public opinion, fear is a spirit, not an emotion.
Calling out to God should be our primary plan of attack when we feel an overwhelming sense of spiritual paralysis. Whether we are struggling with an illness, fear, or anxiety, asking God for strength in the midst has to be our first option.
Let’s pray that our children will run to Him first and foremost so that they can battle the overwhelmed feelings that try to suffocate them.
●____________ will be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified ____________, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
●Lord my God, ____________ called to you for help, and you healed her. (Psalm 30:2)
●The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; ____________ runs to it and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10)
●____________ will not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, ____________ will present her requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard ____________’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
●For God has not given ____________ a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
●____________ will cast all her anxiety on Him because He cares for her. (1 Peter 5:7)
About this Plan
Praying for our children is instinctual as parents. We are constantly praying for their health, well being and happiness. All of those are great, but let's go deeper in our prayers for them. As Jesus followers, the Word of God is our foundation for truth and because of that, it makes sense that we should use it as our guide. Join Cindy as she shares prayers with you that she has prayed over her three sons and walk in faith that you will see it all come to pass in your own children's lives.
