Praying God's Word Over Your Kids: Part 3نموونە
As a parent, I really don’t want my sons to suffer. I would love for their lives to be problem free as they follow Jesus. There, I said it. Yet, I know and have experienced God in a remarkable way through my own hardships and struggles. It is often in our most difficult moments where we encounter God’s love and presence in such a profound manner and where our faith deepens. Why would I expect that it will be different for them? And why would I want them to be robbed of walking more deeply with God?
When our children face trials, it is our job to be there to guide and coach them. We cannot accept their consequences—they have to. But we can pray over them to learn from their trials and persevere through them. Not only that, we can trust that God will be working in those difficult times to help them become the godly women and men they will grow into.
They will be challenged and tested in their lives. We must pray that they will not see these times as a setback but instead, a setup for what God wants to do in and through their lives. Because friend, He doesn’t waste a thing they walk through. Not one single thing.

About this Plan
Praying for our children is instinctual as parents. We are constantly praying for their health, well being and happiness. All of those are great, but let's go deeper in our prayers for them. As Jesus followers, the Word of God is our foundation for truth and because of that, it makes sense that we should use it as our guide. Join Cindy as she shares prayers with you that she has prayed over her three sons and walk in faith that you will see it all come to pass in your own children's lives.
