Jesus Speaks the Best Over You
Who doesn’t like to hear that it will go well for them? Everybody expects good news. Whether it be that you get a raise or promotion, that you are healthy, in a good marriage or have children with outstanding grades at school. Maybe that your house is beautiful, or that you have cars that are in good condition and don’t need repairs. Nobody likes to receive bad news. Especially if it’s related to your job, family, or relationships. Yet, when we read or listen to the evening news, one would think that they specialize in looking for the worst news to tell their viewers. Assault, murder, floods, tornados, corruption, and the list goes on! Nevertheless, everyone desires for it to go well for them, especially in four of the most important areas of our lives, which are, spiritually, emotionally, career-wise, and health.
We were created by God to connect, train, and work. We are a creation full of ideas that can progress. We are capable of finding solutions in difficulties, help the needy, loving our enemies, or walking the extra mile; but overall, we were designed to fulfill the purpose we are here on Earth for. God designed us to be social beings and to have relationships with others. We were not created to only think of ourselves but to think of how we can bless others. For this reason, we must acknowledge that in order to grow and fructify, we need the blessing of God.
The key is in knowing that God always desires the best over our lives. Trusting Him with our plans is understanding that He created us with the ability to accomplish the goals He set for us. God declares in His Word that the plans He has for us are to prosper and not harm.
Also, through His Holy Spirit, God fills us with creativity to create projects for His glory. Just like in times of Moses, God said he gave Bezalel skills and expertise to design and work in gold, silver, and bronze for His tabernacle. God blesses us with gifts and talents and it is our job to learn to use them for His glory. God desires only the best for you! He has your best interest at heart.
