Speak Over Me

DAY 5 OF 7

Jesus Speaks Promises Over You

There are many promises of God registered in His Word that sustain our faith when we trust in an invisible God. God is all powerful and His Word is life to those who believe. His Word is worthy of credit. It teaches, corrects, and trains us to be men and women prepared to do the good work, to manifest in our actions the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ, before leaving to heaven, made the promise that we would never be orphans. He promised to send the Holy Spirit, who He called helper and comforter. He also promised the Holy Spirit would teach and remind us of His Word. We are not alone! He is forever living in us. Without the Holy Spirit, we could not live the type of life the New Testament tells us about. Hence, the importance of this promise to our lives. He lives in us, and we must die to self, so that He can manifest in us.

Jesus came as a man to fulfill His purpose here on Earth. Yet, He knew it would be necessary to leave so that the Holy Spirit could come and live in everyone who believed in Him. Wisdom is accessible to us, the Holy Spirit guides and teaches us all things. He made us the living church of the Holy Spirit. And it’s the Holy Spirit who constantly reminds us to trust each of God’s promises that He has for us. His work is profound, and we must allow it to act upon our lives.

The Holy Spirit confirms the Word of God in our hearts. He testifies to our spirit that we are children of God. The Holy Spirit came like a strong wind, with power and fire, ready to perform powerful works but also to comfort those who are hurting.
