TheLionWithin.Us: How to Pursue Your Careerনমুনা
Advancement
Leaders view advancing in their careers differently from average men.
They know the advancements will come when they obey what God desires for their life. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 should make you pump your chests with excitement as it shows the power of our God. Before you pump it too hard, look at verse 15: “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you”. This speaks to obedience and aligning our paths to God’s desires!
Average men may use unethical methods or good old-fashioned butt kissing to advance, but a leader knows better ways. Set yourself apart in your career by being a man of honor, ethics, hard work, and humility. Remember how Jesus served others during his ministry and mirror that in your day-to-day activities.
The bottom line is you have no idea what God has in plan for your career. The advancement you have in mind may be 3 rungs down the ladder of what God desires. You will achieve great accomplishments when you commit to obeying God in all you do.
Question to Consider
- How are you aligned with God to achieve the next career blessing He provides?
- What ways do you demonstrate obedience to the Lord as you seek future advancement in your career?
- What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
