TheLionWithin.Us: How to Pursue Your Careerনমুনা
Getting the Job You Want
The job market is as competitive as ever and you will have to go above and beyond to land the roles you desire.
The key to fulfillment in the career you desire can be found in Proverbs 16:3. You must ensure that your career plans are aligning to what God desires.
How do you do that? Prayer and reading His Word will give you the answers you seek. You must fully commit to seeking what He desires for your life. That may not always align with what you had hoped for initially.
If you are walking in what God desires, it may take 2-3 new opportunities to get you to where you hoped when you started. Those first 2-3 opportunities might prepare you to step in and absolutely crush what you desired all along.
When it comes to getting that dream job, you must be relentless! Go the extra mile, serve at the highest level, maintain a mindset of humility, and go for it! You can do this and when you commit your plans to the Lord, be ready for when He moves.
Question to Consider
- Is your dream job more important than God’s plan?
- In what ways can you hear, identify, and recognize God’s calling?
- How does His calling create opportunities for you to build the kingdom?
- What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
