TheLionWithin.Us: How to Pursue Your Careerনমুনা
Working Hard Daily
In the world we live in, hard work has been scaled down tremendously.
Some of you guys need to hear this - work is not always going to be easy. Quite frankly, some days are going to seem impossibly difficult.
Ecclesiastes tells us that whatever work we find ourselves doing, we should do it with all our might. No one achieves their goals by coasting through life on autopilot. Greatness takes blood, sweat, and tears. Leaders recognize that they need to own whatever work they find themselves in.
The phrase, “It’s not my job,” should be banned from your vocabulary. Take on the mindset that Jesus had and serve others in all that you do. It’s through hard work and service that the true blessings of life will come.
The day you feel that certain tasks are below you should be an immediate flag that you are slipping on a dangerous slope and Satan may be close to your work. Kick him to the curb, tighten up, and get to work. Leaders serve others daily!
Question to Consider
- How can you maintain a high work ethic regardless of your surroundings?
- What ways can you serve others at work that you have not considered?
- What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
