FAITH
“Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” Lam 3:32-33
Lord, today, I have no words. My emotions are raw and I am simply sad. Today can I just listen to what you are saying to me:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. (Isaiah 43) Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I make my bed in the depths you are there…even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. (Psalm 139) Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. (Heb13) Cast your cares upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall (Psalm 55) Peace I leave you with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14) Christ is a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. (Isaiah 53) Surely, I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt 28)
Thank you, sweet Father, for letting me be silent as you speak truth into me. I needed that.
