HOPE
“Because of the Lord’s faithful love, we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness! I say: The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will put my hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
Dear Abba Father, I know you understand my pain. You wept when your friend Lazarus died. I know you feel my tears and each day you mend my broken heart. I am so thankful that I know you and that I have a relationship with you. In this past week your compassion has been great and your strength has been so strong for me. What are you trying to teach me, Lord? How can I use this experience to help me grow? Show me each day how I can grow and learn from this pain you’ve put in my life. I know you will give me more children. Yet nothing replaces this one I have lost. Though, Lord, there’s a reason for it, I know. I prayed from the beginning of my pregnancy that I wanted you to receive glory from this child. Nothing ever said that this could not bring you glory. Father, I must understand how this is bringing you glory.
Touch someone else by my experience, help them see you clearly. Help me to touch someone else who is going or has gone through what I am going through. Help me not to be afraid of this ever happening again. Help me to get through this so that it won’t hinder my life.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” ROM 8:28
