Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

After Jesus had fasted for forty days, the devil approached Him with a temptation to turn stones into bread. In response, Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 8:3, stating, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God." This profound truth serves as a powerful reminder that true satisfaction comes not from physical sustenance but from our relationship with God.
