Kwase kulethwa kuye onamadimoni, eyimpumputhe futhi eyisimungulu; wamphulukisa, waze wabona, wakhuluma lo obeyisimungulu. Zonke izixuku zamangala kakhulu, zathi: “Lo akusiyo yini indodana kaDavide na?”
AbaFarisi bekuzwa lokhu, bathi: “Lo ukhipha amadimoni kuphela ngombusi wamadimoni, uBhelzebhule.”
UJesu ekwazi abakucabangayo, wathi kubo: “Yilowo nalowo mbuso owehlukene wodwa uyachitheka, nalowo nalowo muzi noma yindlu eyehlukene yodwa ayiyukuma. Uma uSathane ekhipha uSathane, kusho ukuthi wehlukene yedwa. Pho umbuso wakhe uyakuma kanjani na? Uma Mina ngikhipha amadimoni ngoBhelzebhule, amadodana enu awakhipha ngobani na? “Kuphakathi kokuba nithi umuthi muhle, nesithelo sawo sibe sihle; noma nithi mubi, nesithelo sawo sibe sibi; ngokuba umuthi waziwa ngesithelo sawo. Nzalo yezinyoka, ningakukhuluma kanjani okuhle nibe nibabi na? Ngokuba umlomo ukhuluma okuchichima enhliziyweni. Umuntu omuhle ukhipha okuhle engcebeni yakhe enhle; nomuntu omubi ukhipha okubi engcebeni yakhe embi. Kepha ngithi kini: amazwi wonke ayize akhulunywa ngabantu, bayakulanda ngawo ngomhla wokwehlulelwa. Ngokuba uyakwehlulelwa ngamazwi akho, icala likuthethe, futhi uyakulahlwa ngamazwi akho.”
Kwase kuphendula abathile kuzazimthetho nakubaFarisi, bathi: “Mfundisi, sithanda ukuba usikhombise isibonakaliso esenziwa nguwe.”

Indlovukazi yaseningizimu nayo iyakuma nalesi sizukulwane ekwahlulelweni, isilahle ngecala. Ngokuba yasuka emikhawulweni yomhlaba izolalela ukuhlakanipha kukaSolomoni. Lapha kukhona okukhulu kunoSolomoni.
“Uma umoya ongcolileyo uphuma kumuntu, uyazula, udabule ezindaweni ezigagadekileyo, ufuna ukuphumula; kodwa ungakufumani. Bese uthi: ‘Ngizakubuyela endlini yami engaphuma kuyo.’ Usufikile, uyifumana ingenalutho, ishaneliwe futhi ihlotshisiwe. Kwathi uJesu esakhuluma nezixuku, unina nabafowabo bema ngaphandle befuna ukukhuluma naye. Omunye wathi kuye: “Kukhona unyoko nabafowenu abami ngaphandle, bafuna ukukhuluma nawe.”
Kepha uJesu waphendula, wathi kuye: “Ngubani umame, nabafowethu bangobani na?”
Welula isandla sakhe wakhomba abafundi bakhe, wathi: “Niyabona, nangu umame, nabafowethu. Ngokuba yilowo nalowo owenza intando kaBaba osezulwini, ungumfowethu nodadewethu nomame.”
