Moments With God For MomsÀpẹrẹ
Not Alone
Being a mom is hard. So many times I have been brought to the end of myself, realizing that I did not have what it took to finish the job. I am gently reminded in this verse that I may not have the power and strength, but God does. He has given me my children for this very purpose—to train them, to teach them, and to love them. God will give me what I need when I need it. Thank you, God, for always being the more I need to accomplish my work.
Prayer
Father, as I go about this day/week/month/year, I pray I will be aware of your presence, obey your commands, and serve you in all that I do. God, I realize and acknowledge before you, that I cannot do this job of a mom on my own. I need you. I ask you to give me what I lack. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, fill me with your joy, your patience, and your unconditional love. All these things I need from you. Thank you for wanting a relationship with me and for pursuing me the way you do. I want to follow you, God. Teach me. I am willing to learn. Amen..
