Rehaboam & Jeroboam - 2/5

Growing up as the oldest son of King Solomon, the richest man in human history, Rehaboam lived a privileged existence. So when the working people of his kingdom asked for fewer hours and better working conditions, he behaved like a spoiled brat. He ignored wise advice and lost most of the kingdom to Jeroboam.

Adam and Eve ignored wise advice about what to eat, and they introduced sin to all of humanity. But Jesus loved us enough to die on the cross and pay for our sins so that we can have relationship with Him again. When you face a difficult decision, ask God to show you who will give advice that points you back to Him.
