Key Events: Key Historical Events Of The BibleÀpẹrẹ
Creation
The book of Job is the story of a man named Job who loved and obeyed God, but still suffered. He couldn’t understand why God caused him to suffer so he had many questions that assumed God was being unfair to him. God’s response to those questions can be summarized as, “Since I created everything, do you think I might actually know more than you do?” The chapter is a beautiful and poetic description of God’s power demonstrated in the event creation.
Asking God questions is fine, but accusing him of doing something wrong is not. Most people have accused or blamed God during times of suffering, but God really does know what is best even when we don’t understand.
