The Church has Left the BuildingÀpẹrẹ
The Church has left the building. You are the Church, and you have left the building because we are not able to safely open it. So, if you are the Church now, and the building is not the Church, are people going to want to believe in Jesus because of the way you live your life? That question hurts a little, doesn’t it? You are your worst critic. You know all of your faults and failures, your insecurities and inadequacies. Do not be ashamed of who you are. Jesus is continuing to make you more like Him. Trust the process. Go all in.
Paul tells us if we fight with each other, insult each other, gossip about each other, it will spread like gangrene. You know people who are like this, don’t you? Mean girls at your high school, the small group of guys at the office, your in-laws. We know it is disturbing behavior, but it infects everyone around them. Paul mentioned 2 people who began to live this type of lifestyle and departed from following Jesus. I wonder how many departed with them.
If we really want to be the Church and be Jesus to everyone around us, we have to turn away and flee from wickedness. The Church has left the building. I pray we become a people that give hope and peace to those around us, bringing them closer to Jesus, and to the love that He offers.

Do we want to look back at our time in history and watch Christianity fall by the wayside? Do we want our generation to be known throughout all of history as the generation who was overtaken? It is our responsibility to step up, take action, and lead the NOW generation into the future. We don’t want Christianity to begin dying on our watch.
