I Am Victorious
Think about a time when you were on the losing side of a game or competition. It’s not something you’ll brag about because though not everybody may fight to win, deep down, nobody likes to lose. And the same is true for life.
We all want to win each day at home, in our relationships, in our careers, even through our social media presence. But if you base your identity on what you do, your self-worth will become dependent on how good you can be … or fail to be.
Don’t let your mistakes or shortcomings define the way you see yourself today. You are in Christ and you walk in His victory. Only Jesus lived a perfect life. And while you will experience some setbacks in this life, His sacrifice on the cross was enough to make you complete and victorious in Him!
But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One(1 Corinthians 15:57, TPT).
Questions:
- Have you ever found yourself getting burned out by trying to win in every area of your life?
- What is God speaking to you about that today?
- In what areas of your life do you need to start declaring, in faith, “my victory is in Christ, not in my accomplishments!”?
