Your Date With Destiny By Jean KeysÀpẹrẹ
Taking the Next Step
There are four steps that you need to follow on this last leg of your journey. In order to live your dream in a real and practical way, you need to:
• Evaluate your current situation
• Equip yourself
• Identify the resources you require
• Set daily goals
This is an ongoing process. You need to regularly evaluate, equip yourself, identify new resources required and set new goals. This is the only way to grow.
Evaluate
The evaluation stage is about knowing where you want to be and comparing it to where you are now. To identify what needs to be done takes courage, so take a deep breath and write down in a few sentences what it is going to take for you to begin living out this dream.
Equip Yourself
Achieving your dream might require new skills or the improvement of your current skills.
Identify the Resources You Require
People often limit themselves by saying they don’t have the money, equipment or time, or that the risk is too great. Writing down the resources you require will do two things for you: It re-commits you to the process; and you realize that it is never as overwhelming as you first thought.
Set Daily Goals
You can easily become overwhelmed if you don’t take it one step at a time. All you need to do is take the first step.
Keep setting goals on your journey to live your dream. Write them down, and set a deadline for yourself. Make a decision today that you are going to ask God to help you to extend into your unknown and experience your true self, transcending all expectations of yourself. Remember, God doesn’t work quickly, but suddenly, and you are about to step into your "suddenly" moment. God makes everything beautiful in its time.
