Creating a Culture of Gospel Multiplication // Gospel X - Multiplying the Gospel

DAY 5 OF 7

The gospel spread throughout the Middle East: Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch. In addition, the gospel was not only spread among Jews and God-fearers, but they also started to spread to the Greeks. Twice in this short paragraph it says “and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.” (v.21) and “and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.” (v.24).

The persecution in Jerusalem led to great numbers that accepted the Lord in different regions. What a blessing! The first church in Jerusalem would probably never have imagined this. God can use everything to bring out something good. It also shows that the first Christians would not keep still. Once they arrived at a new place, they started to talk about Jesus and the Good News. It was part of their behaviour, their culture. The Good News changed their own life so much that they could not hide it.

How do you react towards challenges and oppositions? Do you trust in God? Do you focus on God bringing righteousness? Do you have faith in God making something good out of every situation?

How many friends of yours know about you being a Christian? With how many friends have you spoken about your faith? Do you keep your faith private? Or do you tell easily about your faith in Jesus?

What is your culture when it comes to gospel multiplication?

About this Plan

Creating a Culture of Gospel Multiplication // Gospel X - Multiplying the Gospel

Jesus left the church the vision of a movement when he challenged us to reproduce from our own Jerusalem into “Judea, Samaria and the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). For us to see a movement, we need every Christ follower to adopt Jesus' personal mission to “seek and save the lost.” (Luke 19:10). Evangelism is core to the mission of Jesus and essential to accomplishing his vision. This plan is part of a 5-week journey on the topic of Gospel X - Multiplying the gospel.
