21 Days of Breakthrough

DAY 6 OF 21

Day 6: Step Into the Unknown

Abraham’s story is one of radical faith. When God called him to leave his home and his people, He didn’t give him a roadmap or a detailed plan. All Abraham knew was that God was leading him to a place of promise. And so, he obeyed.

Imagine leaving everything familiar behind—your home, your community, your security—and stepping into the unknown. Abraham’s journey required trust, patience, and a willingness to let go of control. He didn’t always get it right (think of his detour with Hagar), but his faith ultimately positioned him to become the father of nations.

What step of faith is God asking you to take in this season? Maybe it’s stepping out into a new opportunity, letting go of something that’s holding you back, or trusting Him with a decision that feels uncertain. Faith often means moving forward before you have all the answers, believing that God will guide your steps.

Take some time today to sit with God and ask, “Lord, what are You calling me to do? What step of faith do You want me to take?” Write down anything that comes to mind, and commit it to prayer. Remember, you don’t have to see the whole picture—just take the next step. Trust that the God who called Abraham is leading you, too.

About this Plan

21 Days of Breakthrough

Over the next 21 days, we are setting aside time to seek God intentionally—through fasting, prayer, and giving. Matthew 6 reminds us that these three practices draw us closer to the heart of God and position us to experience His faithfulness in extraordinary ways. Each day, we'll be walking with you through stories from Scripture, personal reflections, and encouragement for this journey. Take time to reflect, pray, and let God speak to you. We're believing that as we lean into this together, He will do above and beyond all we could ask or imagine.
