God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Намуна

1 Timothy — Day 2
What wonderful news that Jesus sacrificed Himself to save all of us—even a filthy, stinking sinner like me! But it’s important to note that Paul starts the second chapter of 1 Timothy with an instruction for everyone to be praying. He repeats a couple of times that everyone should be praying, not just the church leaders or the educated people, or the trained people. Everyone.
He’s also very clear about what to pray for. Again, everyone. When Jesus died for everyone, He died for everyone. Your family and friends, your cool neighbor across the street, that annoying guy at work, and even the candidate you didn’t vote for. He died for all of them, and they need to hear about Jesus’s sacrifice just as much as we did. Let’s start lifting others up right now.
