God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Намуна
1 Timothy — Day 1
In Jewish culture, Paul had been a rockstar. As a pharisee, he was trained in the Scriptures and followed the law carefully, showed up at the synagogue regularly, and served on leadership. But that wasn’t what he bragged about. His testimony was that he was the worst sinner of all and had even persecuted Christians before God got hold of him and changed his heart.
If you think you are disqualified from sharing Jesus or serving in the church because you’re a great big sinner with an ugly past who doesn’t know enough about the Bible, think again. God loves using our weaknesses and shortcomings as an example of His great love, forgiveness, and power. And let’s follow Paul’s example in 1 Timothy 1:17 and give all the glory to our awesome God!
