THAT'S why you're alive!

What are you up to today?

And are you ready for it? For telling people about the One who gives you a reason to get up with joy every morning? Wouldn't it be pretty selfish not to share with others the love you've been given? God has enough love for everyone! Wow!

Paul already said that “Christ is my life” in the letter to the Philippians. But he went even further. He said, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21 NIV)

If you go through life thinking like this, then you have really achieved everything in terms of faith! Because it's the truth! For you, and for me, an eternity awaits us with God that we simply cannot imagine! We will never experience anything so beautiful, anything so perfect, anything so fantastic on this earth!

But there is a reason why God wanted you here on earth in the first place, in your “temporary home” so to speak!

The verse from Philippians goes even further: “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me." (Philippians 1:21-26 NIV)

You are alive to give glory to God, and your life can also give joy to others in the process! If we are willing, God gives us opportunities to be involved in His work right where we are.

Today, at the end of this week, may I bless you for this commission?

“Jesus, I ask You to prepare us for this task! Give us divine encounters in which it will be very easy to tell about You! And then You act in this moment, so that we will recognize with amazement that You have planned this moment and want to lead people to You through! Thank You for the miracles that will happen through us today! Amen!"

You are a miracle!
