No worries! Everything is going according to (God's) plan!

Recently I was able to visit our Spanish author Christian Misch in Madrid. What a valuable exchange this was!

This trip, however, was not without its challenges. Suddenly my headphones were snatched, and instead of enjoying the morning in Madrid before my return flight, I was hanging out at the police station.

When I then saw the daily verse in my app, I had to smile: "He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:4 NIV). And I was like, "Well, maybe He took a little lunch break when my headphones went missing?" Haha.

There was another verse in the app: “Turn all your worries over to him. He cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:7 NiRV)

I decided to do just that. As I got into the car that would take me to the airport, I told the driver about my day. Without hesitation, she handed me her headphones! Yes, that’s exactly what happened! Only one handset worked, but that was more than enough for the return flight!

Perhaps God wasn't napping after all, but had a plan to reach this woman. This was not about me at all, but about her. We got talking and when I said to her, "You know, God really loves you," she burst into tears. Yes, saying that always takes courage, but dare to do it, because it changes lives!

Yes, that's exactly what that woman—who had spent the last year in the hospital—was asking: "Does God even see me?" Up to that point, no one had been able to answer her. I could now tell her about "A Miracle Every Day" in Spanish! How grateful I was at that moment for this opportunity!

You too have opportunities to make people around you aware of God’s love and His miracles. Will you use those moments today?
