A Supernaturally Natural Life Намуна
MIRACLE CHICKEN EGGS
We serve a good God and a loving Father who always lives up to His name ‘Jehovah-Jireh’ by providing for His children. I’ll never forget when my wife and I visited the beautiful country of Guatemala in Central America. Our mentor and guide, Pastor Jose had hosted us and organized our mission. I particularly recall a place. The Pastor had taken us to a farm and as we were walking around, we arrived at a chicken coop that lodged over a hundred chickens. Pastor Jose narrated to us that these chickens had not been laying eggs, resulting in several families falling into a financial crunch, since the selling of eggs was their sole source of income.
When Pastor Jose shared this with me, I felt the Holy Spirit quicken my heart to speak the Word of God and release it into this dead situation. Hold on a minute, did the Lord just tell me that He wants me to speak His Word and pray over these chickens? As funny as it sounds, where there is a need, God will always provide but we’ve got to be obedient and do our part.
I mustered up the courage to tell Pastor Jose about what the Holy Spirit had just said. I never expected him to say it, but he asked me to be obedient and pray. Phew! Sigh of relief. There we were, holding hands and agreeing with God’s word and praying for a miracle. The moment we said Amen, we walked around to check if the chicken had laid eggs, and there it was, over three hundred eggs and it did not stop coming! We collected as many eggs as we could and gave it to every family there, so they could sell it and meet their immediate needs.
Our God is faithful! When His Word is spoken, He will cause it to abound and accomplish the good work. What is impossible with man is possible with God!
Application: The supply you need today is available for you through the promises of Jesus. Just speak it over your situation. Take some time to see and meditate on the never ending supply being poured out into your situation.
Quote: “How many of us still live by the phrase, “if only...” When God has said, “I already...?”- Brian Logue
SHALL SUPPLY in Greek (STRONGS LEXICON G4137) PLEROO, which means “to cause to abound”, “to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure”, “fill to the brim”, “to accomplish”
