Do Something—High School

DAY 10 OF 28

Do you ever get the feeling that the world is super big, and you are super small, and how could God ever pay attention to the things going on in your world? Like, there are a ton of other more important things for Him to do? Sometimes the things in the world seem so large and overwhelming it can be hard to imagine God can do something about all of it—most of all the things we are experiencing in our own world.

This verse from Isaiah is a reminder that God is passionate about justice. No matter where injustice is found, no matter how big or small it is, no matter how unnoticed you may feel in the moment, God has not overlooked or forgotten any injustice. He wants every child of His to be treated like they matter . . . because they do!  So, any injustice that communicates something different? That’s not okay with God.

Today, keep your eye open for even the smallest of injustices around you. And if you see something, instead of feeling hopeless, take a moment to pray, thanking God that He cares, and then asking Him how you can you do your part to bring justice to the world around you.

Do Something—High School

Have you ever seen something in the world around you and thought, “Someone should do something!” Whether it was a kid being bullied at school, children in other countries without enough to eat, or someone in your neighborhood being judged by the color of their skin, what you’re seeing is injustice. We’re going to discover how much Jesus cares about injustice and how we can do something in response.
