I was a lost sheep that strayed away. I had distractions and sins in my life that took my focus away from God and where I needed to be. It is so easy for our busy lives to get in the way, taking our focus away from God, away from where He wants us to be and what He wants us to be doing. Not everyone has a shepherd to look out for them. There are so many people that have broken families and relationships, or family and friends that are not close to God. Or in my case, I put on a front that all was ok. It looked like I was present and ok, but in fact I was lost and struggling to find my way. 

I am so thankful for the people that God placed in my life, who helped Him chase after me. The people that saw through the facade, asked the hard questions and were tireless to bring me back. Being a father myself, I can fully relate to the concern for my children, their choices, the depths of what I would do for them, and the ends of the earth that I would run to in order to bring them back into the fold. My heart fills with joy in seeing my children happy, doing what they should, and I would celebrate and rejoice in their return if they strayed. Now that I have been brought back into the fold, I hope I can help find others!
