Book of 2 Chronicles Намуна
DON’T BE NEGATIVE!
Negativity in our mind often becomes a filter for our thoughts, affecting our relationships with others and with God.
Too often, when we experience a traumatic event we say, "God is bad to us or God is not fair!" When suffering from sickness, "God rebukes me for my sins!" When experiencing injustice, "God is unfair!" This is all due to an improper view of God. Because of this imprecise assumption and negative outlook, one's faith will slowly retreat because his relationship with God does not match with what he wants God to do to for him.
The real battlefield is in our mind. Every second, every minute, every hour, every day, we are faced with the struggle of right thinking. Paul taught us to resist all the logic of this world's thinking. We must train ourselves to always see the positive side, the truth.
When we learn to look at every situation from a perspective of truth, we will be able to say, "Everything God allows is happening for good in my life."
We will prevail over negative thoughts if we use the sword of the spirit—the word of God—and always live in communion with God.
