Book of 2 Chronicles Намуна
DRAWING THE PRESENCE OF GOD
If you come to church for worship what are your expectations? Is it good music, buildings, cool spaces, and grand lights? A great preacher? When Solomon built the temple of God, he built a supreme and expensive building. Everything was lined with pure gold and very expensive gemstones.
But the splendor of the building, luxurious facilities and great music and preachers are nothing if we do not encounter God. Our worship means nothing without God's presence.
The temple built by Solomon had been completed and it was time for them to start worshiping God. Songs were raised and worship began. They prepared burnt offerings and other offerings. This is an example of our worship today—the offering of our entire lives—mind, soul, and body.
God declared His presence as His fire came down to burn the sacrifice of God's people, purifying it The presence of God will purify our hearts, bring restoration, miracles, and deliverance.
Our worship means nothing without God's presence.
