6 Days To Becoming A Kingdom DiscipleНамуна
Now friends, God wants you to know that if you’re serious about being a kingdom disciple, there are rewards attached to it. When you go to work and you fulfill the responsibilities your employer asks of you, you are rewarded with a salary. Sometimes, you do really well with a bonus. Well, God also gives bonuses! To be clear, we’re not talking about your entrance into heaven. That’s a free gift of God for all who believe. But God does have heavenly rewards for those who follow Him, committed to doing the work of the kingdom with a cheerful heart.
He says in Matthew 16:27,
“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds.”
He says in James 1:12,
“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
Even better, in Matthew 5:12, Jesus says,
“Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
While we might not have a perfect picture of what these rewards will be, we know that we serve a good God, full of power and wisdom, and eager to bless His children with good things.
So, don’t be satisfied with low spiritual wages and minimum income. Go for maximum reward. As a kingdom disciple, give Him all you want so He can give you all He has.

About this Plan
A disciple in the kingdom of God is one who chooses to be more than just a fan of Jesus Christ. They commit themselves to taking up their cross, denying themselves, and following Him. This commitment is not an easy one and it is not a short one, but it is rich with God’s reward. Join Tony Evans as he uncovers what it means to follow Jesus, no turning back.
